Frost protection
DEFROST PIPE is a light commercial grade self-limiting heating cable/tape that is ideal for frost protection or temperature maintenance of pipe work and vessels in the construction and refrigeration industries. DEFROST PIPE 20 / GUTTER is recommended for frost protection of roof gutters and drains.
Cut-to-length
It can be cut-to-length on site, and exact piping lengths can be mathced without any complicated design considerations.
Improve safety and reliability
Its self-limiting characteristics improve safety and reliability. DEFROST PIPE wil not overheat or burnout, even when overlapped upon itself. Its power output is self-limiting in response to the pipe temperature.
Quick installation
The installation of DEFROST PIPE is quick and simple and require no special skills or tools. Termination, splicing and power connection components are all provided in convenient kits.
