Our customised underwater telecommunication cables are manufactured at our production facility in Rognan, on the coast of northern Norway. The modern plant has a 35 year long history of building specialised telecom cables. The plant has an excellent infrastructure such as a deep water harbour, road and rail connections.
Nexans provided the steel-armored umbilicals for the ROV that worked on the “Prestige” wreck off the Spanish coast, and supplied an aramid-armored cable used for oceanographic research at 7,000-meter depth in the Indian Ocean.
